Does anyone believe the budgie recordings on the internet?

I have a 10 month old male budgie who speaks English. He says about a dozen phrases, like “Whatcha doin’?” “Tell me story” and “What a pretty bird”. Some phrases he uses in context, as in “bye bye” or “good morning”. He is a little bit difficult to understand, and he sounds *absolutely* nothing like any of the budgie recordings that I have been able to find online. I am, in fact, mostly convinced by my bird that many online sites are hoaxes.
Does anyone know of a reliable site with budgie recordings (I thought my bird my enjoy listening).

Anyone with lots of Budgie experience?

I just got a new Budgie on Sunday. He has a great cage with toys, soothing music at all times and is kept warm. I havent tried to hold him yet, its only been 3 days and I am trying to let him settle in. He got out of his cage and I used a stick for him to step up on and he stepped on my finger. I thought everything was going well. For no reason he bent over and bit me hard and wouldnt let go. He just dug into my skin on my finger. Why did he do that? How long is it going to take to get him tame? He is very nervous, I dont know what to do. Should I leave him alone for awhile or keep going forward trying to handle him?

For anyone with a budgie?

This question has two parts. Firstly is your budgie cage placed near a window that looks out onto a road. If so, do they start chirping when a car goes by? Mine does, it’s really strange.

Secondly, anyone who has a Nintendo Wii with Mario kart as well as a budgie, do you find that when you play on wifi mode and it comes to the part where it has selected the players and is showing the current race in progress before you start your race. Our budgie seems to chirp when the music plays that goes with it.

Any feedback on your experiences would be very interesting to hear. Even if there are other strange things that set your budgie off.

My Budgie keeps tapping his feet. Does anyone know what is wrong with his feet?

I noticed that he went from slightly tapping his feet to tapping his feet a lot. I don’t know what exactly is going on.

I have recorded a video of him today while he was tapping his feet. Can anyone please tell me what is going on with him?

No the music wasn’t on. I just audioswapped because my little cousin was like talking too much when I recorded.

Also he doesn’t do this when I have music on.

anyone ever had a talking FEMALE budgie/parakeet?

yeah I don’t wanna hear about your male budgie talking cause its common enough but I almost Never heard about a female budgie heck its abundant online to see a male budgie chattering away in both budgie and human phases and words but u never see females talking is this true?
I think I heard my sky blue female budgie say hello once and back then she was my only budgie and it was clear as a bell but a small little voice.. otherwise she did alarm calls at my dad cause they had a thing between them that they whistled back and fourth. she was oddly tall for a female though and always was lean looking. definately female though cause she wasn’t pied. ^_^ but that’s hardly enough to call her a “talking budgie”
