Sometimes my budgie/parakeet will bury his head into his wing and just sing to himself for like a half hour…

Especially during/after I play music he likes (like CCR). He does it very quietly (not in a crazy or excited way like other times.) It’s really cute. I’m just wondering if anyone else’s bird does this and if anyone knows what he’s actually doing. He is an all around happy bird and gets along with the other budgie sharing his cage :)

anyone ever had a talking FEMALE budgie/parakeet?

yeah I don’t wanna hear about your male budgie talking cause its common enough but I almost Never heard about a female budgie heck its abundant online to see a male budgie chattering away in both budgie and human phases and words but u never see females talking is this true?
I think I heard my sky blue female budgie say hello once and back then she was my only budgie and it was clear as a bell but a small little voice.. otherwise she did alarm calls at my dad cause they had a thing between them that they whistled back and fourth. she was oddly tall for a female though and always was lean looking. definately female though cause she wasn’t pied. ^_^ but that’s hardly enough to call her a “talking budgie”

How does music effect a budgie/parakeet…?

Okay i have a budgie, she’s about 4 years old and whenever i play this

She becomes all chirpy and happy and starts bobbing her head up and down. She was falling asleep listening to it on top of her cage earlier she seems to really like that song and especially that version.

Is it possible for budgies to have a taste when it comes to music? She seems to be very selective, some songs won’t do anything for her but other songs will make her really chirpy, head bobbing, etc.

I want to see the reaction of my budgie/parakeet talking to another parakeet on webcam :]?
