i have a male and female parakeet (budgie), how do i?

i have a male and female parakeet (budgie), they are 4 months and lower, they dont whistle or talk to me. how do i make them talk or sing? they just stay on their perch and wont do anything else, they wont play. what do i do to make them play, i talk and play music to them, are they happy? how come i dont see them eating or drinking? they wont move from their perch. how do i make them talk or sing or whistle? etc

Why is my male budgie not mounting on my female budgie?

I have a male and a female budgie. I have also provided them a nest box. They spent most of their time in the nest box. The male budgie feeds the female and also bobs its head to her. The male budgie sings the mating song for the female. Then the female budgie lowers head down and raises her tail up for the male to mount on her. But the male budgie doesnt mount on her instead he keeps on singing his mating song. The female goes nearer and nearer to him but he doesnt mount. After remaining in that position for a long time the female chases away the male. Why the male budgie doesn’t mount on female?

My female budgie makes funny noises?

I have a female budgie, about a year old, and she really likes Linkin Park and Hinder. She sort of clicks along to it, is this some sort of precursor to talking? Its not a really loud noise and she doesnt do it all the time. Does she just like the music or will she start talking soon? Thanks!
She isnt making the noise with her beak, i have watched her make the noise and it is not with her beak. She seems to be making it in her throat, its kind of a soft click, not a really sharp click.

Talking – Female Budgie?

Who out there has a FEMALE budgie that talks and what’s the extent of her vocabulary. I have a 12 mnth old Fembud and she mimics the outside birds and some whistles I’ve taught her and I’m wondering if she will ever talk. I repeat her name in a rhyme but so far nothing, I know she listens and sometimes her chatter sounds like garbled conversation. I’ve been used to having Males which learned to talk very quickly. Thanks.

Why does my female Parakeet sings?

Is it known for female parakeets to sing. If so, she does sing sometimes, not a lot. My male parakeet sings more than her, but if there is a song on or she just feels happy then she does it. Do females sing like the males or is she a male. If so then that would be weird because they do mate with each other.

anyone ever had a talking FEMALE budgie/parakeet?

yeah I don’t wanna hear about your male budgie talking cause its common enough but I almost Never heard about a female budgie heck its abundant online to see a male budgie chattering away in both budgie and human phases and words but u never see females talking is this true?
I think I heard my sky blue female budgie say hello once and back then she was my only budgie and it was clear as a bell but a small little voice.. otherwise she did alarm calls at my dad cause they had a thing between them that they whistled back and fourth. she was oddly tall for a female though and always was lean looking. definately female though cause she wasn’t pied. ^_^ but that’s hardly enough to call her a “talking budgie”

How come my male budgie can make kissing sounds and my female cant?
